What is NSI® Pycnogenol®?

Pycnogenol was demonstrated to aid healthy vascular functions and helps relax arterial constriction in a Japanese clinical trial with healthy students.

A study conducted at the University of Arizona revealed that Pycnogenol helped maintain healthy blood pressure and blood platelet activity, while supporting cardiovascular health.

Pycnogenol also inhibits the activity of a digestive enzyme (alpha-glucosidase) which is required for absorption of dietary carbohydrates. By virtue of this effect Pycnogenol was found to support healthy blood sugar levels. These findings were published in “Diabetes Care”, a medical journal issued by the American Diabetes Association.
