Biodynamic® Agriculture

Biodynamic® agriculture integrates agricultural activities with natural forces. It sees the farm as an alive and self-sufficient organism, with multiple concurrent farming activities fully integrated among themselves as well as to the eco-system, the Earth and ultimately, to the Cosmos.

The production system keeps the organic status of the fields and adds new stewardship activities, where biodynamic preparations are produced and applied, aiming to reach a better balance in the whole organism, and therefore more disease resistance and productivity, as well as improving the nutritional profile of final products.

The basis of Demeter Biodynamic products quality is the spiritual science of Rudolf Steiner (1861 - 1925).

The ideas & methods of biodynamic agriculture stem from it, as do the tenets of anthroposophical nutrition. Included with the normal quantitative considerations, there is the added qualitative dimension of vitality.
