"I trust Nature's Way and I know sometimes standardized is better than getting all parts of a plant [sometimes not], so I ordered this to go along with my NOW all-part valerian root.
This is effective and strong. I take two nightly to wind down. I don't take it for sleep; I have melatonin for that. I take this to settle down for the night about 2 hours before bed.
I'll buy another bottle soon. Sometimes I take two of these, or if I want a lighter dose, I take one of these or one with a NOW valerian capsule.
Both of these smell okay. It isn't an awful smell; just smells like a ground herb to me."

"This product works well for my family and me as long as we take it with a little food one hour before bedtime. If I take it too late in the evening I feel groggy in the morning. Otherwise, it's a great natural sleep aid."
