"It's what everyone needs. The taste is horrible unless you like eating grass with dandelions. OK, its not that bad, but you have to mix it with something to dilute its strength of flavor. I put it in my pancake mix and it gives it a dark rich color which I really like. No sweetness here; just for the great nutritional content. Also makes a good additive to large drinks; I add it to whey beverages that are too sweet to take it down a notch."

"The problem with hemp protein starts when you buy in bulk. The larger the packaging.. the dryer and harder the protein becomes with shipping. When you buy the 3lb bags it is literally hard as rock. I've been searching for the right mixture of quantity / quality and this fits the bill. Very fresh and easily stores in the fridge "as is" or in a BPA free container. MAKE SURE to store hemp in the fridge. It is hard to comment on the taste because I mix with vegetables, fruits, and rice protein. I cannot imagine taking this stuff with water alone… No thanks. Mixes well with nuts, banana, raw agave, greek yogurt, spinach, and raw milk for after workout shake. Take care :)"

"I do feel the energy, I think it's great. taste is not so good but that is not what I pay for. I got what I pay for, and when you get used with it, the taste is not that bad after all. I think this is better than whey because there are many other nutrition except protein, the fiber particularly."
