"This soap is mild, leaves my skin feeling soft, and has a fresh scent. The soap smells quite strong in the box but doesn't leave a heavy scent on your skin. It does not lather as richly as other soaps, but that doesn't matter - it cleanses your skin without leaving it feeling tight and dry. I love that it's all-vegetable (who wants to rub beef fat all over their body, as most commercial soaps are made w/ tallow??). I keep it in a well-drained soap dish and it holds its shape well w/o dissolving into a goopy mess. The bar lasts a long time making this an especially good value."

"this soap did not work well in our water at all. it just felt slimy and did not suds and it didn't clean either. it could be that our water is hard - but kiss my face olive oil soap work fine here - or it may be the glycerine in this soap does not agree with our water quality."
