The Coenzyme form of Vitamin B-12 is known as methylcobalamin or Methyl B-12. This form of Vitamin B-12 directly participates in homocysteine metabolism. Vitamin B-12 assists in converting homocysteine to Methionine which increases the supply of SAMe (S-adenosyl -L-methionine). Methylcobalamin is metabolically active and easily absorbed by the body. This is the most highly reduced form of Vitamin B-12, making Methylcobalamin a very potenet antioxidant. Our sublingual form yields the highest assimilation possible.
