"I have been using this product for many years. Not only is it an excellent source of fiber, but it encourages the growth of healthy lignans, often absent in our digestive systems due to improper eating habits. PLEASE start slow! This is a powerful fiber source, and starting dosage at a minimal amount, and then working up to the daily requirements are encouraged. Starting at higher recommended daily dosing can result in severe pain and cramping. Once you achieve the daily level, I promise, you will never want to stop taking this. I also make this into a "good for you cookie" recipe that melts in your mouth like a pecan sandie. My kids love them! Improvise.....you won't regret it!"
