"the reason why i decided on optimum nutrition is because of the quality and the great customer reviews. i am another satisfied customer of optimum nutrition. the banana cream flavor taste amazing, it doesn't have that chalky after-taste and it feels like your having desert every time you take the protein. i highly recommend this protein for active live style people who work out often (everyday). having the essential amino acids and non essential amino acids in the protein is a great addition, because those AAs help with protein absorption. The only downside to this supplement is the cost, but i'd say that you get what you pay for. quality over quantity. do yourself a favor and buy this protein. you won't regret it. fyi, it also comes in MANY other flavors, which also are great tasting!!!"

"The overall flavor of this protein is exactly what you would expect(pretty solid). If i were buying it again I would probably only buy the 2lb if you are taking it once a day because 77 days of banana is starting to get old. My favorite flavor to date is Mint chocolate and I also love cookies and cream. Overall flavor aside, this product is great in terms of nutrition content (120 calories, 1g fat, 24 gram protein). I currently sip on a shake during my workouts and then usually consume protein in solid food form following work outs. Most people take it before and/or after work outs. I gues the jury is still out. I also recommedn cassein protein by optiumum nutrition right before bed."
