"As others have stated, one would never know these are gluten free IF PREPARED ACCORDING TO PACKAGE DIRECTIONS. The package states in bold italicized letters not to over mix or over bake (both can affect texture and quality). I added 1 t vanilla (my SOP when using mixes) in addition to 1/2 c chopped walnuts and 1/3 c chocolate chips and LOVED the results."

"I have made these twice now and I am not a great baker. Both times they turned out moist and delicious and my husband can't even tell they're gluten-free. They are easy to make and I highly recommend these brownies!"

"I am an avid baker. I have to be honest about this mix. While I simply LOVE Pamela's bread mix and baking mix, the brownies are not what I expected. They are very gritty in texture and lack a strong chocolate flavor. I was very disappointed."

"If mixed according to the product directions these brownies taste like the real thing! I make them for friends and family but don't tell them that they are gluten free. No one can tell the difference and I get rave reviews on the taste. I enjoy Pamela's products very much. I can still satisfy my sweet tooth without the gluten."
