"My husband and I have had great results with this supplement. Absorbing enough Vitamin D from plant sources is very difficult. We decided to start using this brand because the Vitamin D is derived from the hair of the animal, rather than body parts, and the company is in direct contact with the farmers who raise the sheep. The sheep are humanely raised and well cared for; no mulesing takes place. The farmers are required to abide by strict standards and there is constant oversight by Pure Essence. This is a very conscientious company and well deserving of my business."

"I can't really review this because after I ordered it I found out about the source. The source of this D3 is lambs wool which some do not consider vegetarian. You should wait 3 months to get your D level tested again after taking D3 product"

"Total waste of money.My serum levels never improved taking 10000 IU dose of this Vit D3

I now use the NSI brand drops and am curious to see if serum levels have improved. I used it for 2.5 months every day and do not have any absorption issues.I am a vegan and lack Vit D and B12 in my diet.I must supplement and have defficiency still."
