San Francisco Herb and Natural Food Company began as a natural food store on Union Street in San Francisco in 1969. Our store was a large Victorian flat overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Using the kitchen as my lab and tea-formulating room, and the genius of the Golden Gate Bridge as my inspiration, I created my line of herbal teas. From the early morning mists to the purple-hued sunsets, I saw a myriad of subtle changes take place over our Bay- each new view inspiring the creation of a new tea. Soon I had a variety of different teas for different times of the day.
Our company has grown since those wonderful days in San Francisco, yet our commitment to quality remains the same. We continue to bring you the finest herbal tea blends that can be produced.
