San Francisco Herb and Natural Food Company began as a natural food store on Union Street in San Francisco in 1969. While working in the store, what I enjoyed most was mixing the herbs and tasting the combinations; also learning their uses and thus developing our herbal tea line. In the beginning, our store was a large Victorian flat overlooking the San Francisco Bay. Using the kitchen as my lab and tea-formulating room, I looked out and saw the inspiring Golden Gate Bridge. This helped me create a variety of teas for different times of the day. Our company has grown since those wonderful days in San Francisco, yet our commitment to quality remains the same. We continue to bring you the finest herbal tea blends that can be produced.
