"This Seventh Generation Dishwasher Detergent seems to work well in cleaning the dishes! I don't have to use too much of it. I didn't give it 5 stars because sometimes the powder gets stuck together in the dispenser and so it doesn't all dispense out. I make sure the dispenser is totally dry before pouring the powder in, and more often than not, when the wash is done, there is a small goop of powder still in the dispenser. Maybe it is my dishwasher, but with other powders I have used, this hasn't happened.
Dishes still come out clean, so no complaints there!"

"I've been using this product for a while, and I've found that it works best if you add a half-cup of borax to the bottom of your dishwasher and mix some borax with the detergent in the soap cups. The borax really seems to give it a boost and make it clean better."

Seventh Generation Automatic Dishwashing Detergent Directions

LOAD DISHWASHER - Make sure items can be safely washed in a dishwasher. Silver, aluminum and stainless steel should be washed in separate loads to avoid discoloration. Load items with soiled surfaces facing the center and keep taller items away from the center of the bottom rack.

ADD DETERGENT - Fill both pre-wash and main wash cups completely. Use less detergent for soft water/smaller loads. For very hard water we recommend using our Rinse Aid.

Ingredients: Sodium carbonate (water softener and alkalinity builder), sodium sulfate and sodium chloride (promote flowability), citric acid (water softener), sodium silicate (protection agent and alkalinity builder), polyaspartic acid (water softener and anti-firming agent), ppg-10-laureth-7 (anti-spotting agent), sodium percarbonate (removes stains and water softener), protease and amylase (enzyme soil removers). Trace materials are commonly present in cleaning product ingredients.

Warnings

Keep out of reach of children. In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, drink a glassful of water. Contact a Physician.
