"In our every deliberation, we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations."
From The Great Law Of The Iroquois Confederacy
· 100% Recycled Paper
· Hypo-Allergenic, Unscented, No Dyes
· Whitened without Chlorine Bleach
Saves Natural Resources, Reduces Pollution
Our paper towels absorb spills quickly and work hard, even when wet.
Seventh Generation paper towels are made from 100% recycled paper, with a minimum of 80% post consumer materials. Our paper is whitened with an environmentally safe process - never with chlorine bleach. Your choice of our strong and absorbent paper towels makes an important difference today, and for the next seven generations. Here's how:
Recycling paper prevents unnecessary landfilling of valuable resources. In addition to saving trees, producing recycled paper uses less water and energy than paper made from trees. Post-consumer materials are those that we recycle from our homes and offices that would be otherwise be placed into landfills. By using post-consumer materials we help "close the loop" to encourage more recycling and less waste of valuable resources. Our paper towels are whitened without chlorine. This environmentally safe process keeps chlorine's dangers out of your home and our environment. Bleaching paper with chlorine creates dangerous toxins such as dioxin, furans and other organochlorines. Once loose in the environment, these chemicals accumulate in both people and animals. Hundred of studies have shown a direct link between dioxin exposure and cancer, birth defects and developmental and reproductive disorders.
You are making a Difference™
If every household in the U.S. replaced just one roll of 120 sheet virgin fiber paper towels with 100% recycled ones, we could save:
· 544,000 trees
· 1.4 million cubic feet of landfill space, equal to 2,000 full garbage trucks
· 196 million gallons of water, a years supply for 1,500 families of four
· and avoid 33,400 tons of emissions
