"My husband started working out & wanted more protein, so I did some research & found this. We both use it now; it has a mild flavor and is easy to add to almost any food. He puts it in his oatmeal, I add it to yogurt & mix it into my sunflower butter (along with ground flax seed). I also add it to my cracker recipe and of course we put it in smoothies. I'm on the site today to replenish our supply & can't imagine I would ever not have it in the pantry now that we've discovered how convenient it is!"

This is tough to get down

"For those who have never had rice protein powder before, this is really tough to get down. It was my first time and I read all of the other reviews and thought it would be worth a try. But after just choking it down I would get the smallest size possible or even better ask to try someone else's before purchasing. I won't throw this out and waste all that money it is very, very unpleasant."

Tolerable taste and smell

"I was using Jarrows brown rice protein. But that had a stench of a gas station bathroom and tasted like cardboard box. This one tastes more nutty and, has the smell of a steam coming up from brown rice when you cook it. No, it's not the best taste but it's well tolerable and does not cause an upset stomach like other milk or casein based formulas out there. And, who know what they are putting in milk these days. I like sticking with the veggie options."
