Vitamin C plays a vital role in collagen formation, amino acid metabolism, hormone synthesis, and the body's immune system. Magnesium is an essential mineral, playing a key role in over 300 enzymatic reactions in metabolism. These reactions include those involved in the Krebs cycle (one of the body's main energy production processes), energy storage, the breakdown of fatty acids, protein synthesis, DNA metabolism, the relaxation of both voluntary and involuntary muscle tissue, neurotransmitter activity, and hormone regulation. Magnesium is stored primarily in the bones, and plays a role in bone formation.

"It has a metallic taste which in water is very noticeable. If you mix with OJ or juice it is fine. I like the product. It does settle to the bottom so you have to continually mix. I have mixed it into applesauce for my kids and they did not notice."

"Excellent
source of absorbable magnesium and, surprisingly, this works well with
a sublingual 2.5 mg melatonin in the evening for a better night's
sleep. We take tsp of the ascorbate magnesium with 4 oz of water and a
melatonin about 45 minutes before laying down. Works like a charm."
