Since 1959, Superior Trading has been a presence in the American natural products market, starting out with a small, retail shop in San Francisco's Chinatown. Specializing in imported ginseng and herbal products, Superior eventually began cultivating its own high-quality American ginseng root in Wisconsin and Canada. Today, it continues to operate its Chinatown store and manufactures a wide range of ginseng and other herbal supplements and products.

Superior Red Panax Ginseng features six-year-old ginseng root cultivated in Manchuria and manufactured in the company's original factory in Beijing, China. With stimulating effects similar to coffee, this form of ginseng is commonly used for a quick pick-me-up, taken directly or added to fruit juices or smoothies. Superior also offers:

I smells great, and cleans well. It is not in that packaging as the pix, but I've used it several times before and it is that same thing. 30 cents cheaper than anywhere else."
