"This says "not mushy" on the package in two spots. We found it to be quite mushy. The cooking time is 13-15 minutes so with the first package, I set the timer for 13 minutes and it was way too much time. For the second package, I checked at 6 min and it was mushy with a crunchy center - when the crunch went away all that was left was mush."

"Love all the Tinkyada pastas! I don't even miss wheat-based pastas. One key instruction to follow is to rinse it as soon as you drain it. Otherwise it can be a bit sticky. We find that rinsing with really hot water works fine and it doesn't cool down that way."

"The product specifies to cook for 13-15 minutes. I tested the pasta after 10 minutes and it was not quite done, so I left it for 2 more minutes. When I tested it again it was overdone...it still tasted good, but it feel apart when I tossed it with the sauce...
Of all the Rice Pastas on the market, I've had the most success with this brand."

"After reading Dr. Wm. Davis' book Wheat Belly I decided to go off all wheat products. I really didn't expect to get a good taste or texture with pasta but this brand is awesome. Can't tell the difference from regular pasta. Will certainly continue to use Tinkyada pastas."
