TriMedica AlkaMax™ pH Test Strips Directions
1. Dip in either urine or saliva. Immerse for 1/2 second. use a urine sample for best reading results
2. Hold strip vertically with white section down and compare to chart on package. Read results while still moist.
> The ideal ph range of saliva is about 6.4 - 7.2 (Below 6.4 is too acidic, above 7.2 is too alkaline).
> Urine pH should ideally vary from approximately 5.0 (acid in the morning) to 7.5 (alkaline at night) during each 24-hour period.
> To get an accurate Ph reading, make sure to test your urine morning, noon and night before meals for three days to note trend.
> Watch your urine pH begin to rise and become more alkaline. This monitoring will help you to determine any important diet or lifestyle changes.
