"Husband has been using Carlson's lemon flavored for years. This one seems to be a good quality but he didn't like the taste or the fact that the bottle doesn't have a plastic drip insert. He can't use it without getting oil all over the bottle."

"I say no surprise because Vitacost products deliver all the time. This fish oil is a fraction of what the name brands sell for. After doing exhaustive research, I have no reason to believe this is inferior to Carlson selling many times more. Oil doesn't taste "fishy", rather has more of a lemony flavor. I do recommend the product be mixed in with other food since it does feel a bit heavy taken alone and has more of an opportunity to stay with you for a bit. With food, it's smooth as silk and really doesn't contribute much, if any, taste to something like a smoothy."

"i have used other cod liver oils and was able to taste a fish flavor however not the case with this product......and it just never gave me that pep in my step and attitude that the other brand i have used did"
