"My husband and I take this product as a preventive. We are not on statins, but we are over fifty and take ubiquinol for its antioxidant properties and to protect our hearts (rather than taking regular CoQ10, which is not as well-absorbed in those over forty). While the pills are large, since they are gelcaps, they slip right down your throat, so don't be daunted by the large sized capsule. I bought this brand first because of the price and because I trust the NSI brand, so I have not tried other brands. We are satisfied with this one and will continue to reorder."

"This form of the familiar CoQ10 is a required energy supplement, especially for those who are on long-term statin therapy for legitimate reasons. Noticeable deficit in energy when I'm not consistant with my Ubiquinol intake. I call it the "zombie" effect. If exhaustion is robbing you of the energy you need for a productive lifestyle, consult your physician and see if Ubiquinol is the right supplement for you.

**Note of interest: these pills are quite large, thus the reason for a few "4's" in my rating. After getting stuck in my throat a couple times, I decided to take them alone instead of w/ my other supplements. This seemed to correct the problem.**"
