How do I enable cookies in my browser so that I can better access your site?

Our site uses cookies to store information between visits to our site. Cookies are a mechanism to remember information about a visitor from one page to another. We use cookies to remember your name and the contents of your shopping cart. This allows you to leave our site, come back later, and still have the contents of your shopping cart intact. It also lets us personalize your experience at Vitacost.com, Inc., tailoring the content to your interests. Our website requires the use of cookies. Turning off cookies or rejecting the Vitacost.com cookie will prevent you from accessing the website.

Here's how to enable cookies: (If you do not know your browser version, select Help -> About... from your tool bar)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.x
  • Click on the Tools menu.
  • Select Internet Options.
  • Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
  • Click on the Default button of the window.
  • Move the slider so that it is on one of the levels below Medium High (including Medium, Low, Accept All Cookies).
  • Save changes by clicking OK.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x
  • Click on the Tools menu.
  • Select Internet Options.
  • Click on the Privacy tab near the top of the window.
  • Move the slider so that it is on one of the levels below Medium High (including Medium, Low, Accept All Cookies).
  • Save changes by clicking OK.

Mozilla Firefox:
  • Click on the Tools menu.
  • Click on the Options item.
  • Click on the Privacy tab.
  • Expand the Cookies section.
  • Check the Enable cookies and Accept cookies normally checkboxes.
  • Save changes by clicking OK.

Opera:
  • Click on the Tools menu.
  • Click on the Preferences... item.
  • Click on the Privacy selection near the bottom left of the window.
  • The Enable cookies checkbox must be checked, and Accept all cookies should be selected in the "Normal coookies" drop-down.
  • Save changes by clicking OK.

Safari:
  • Click on the Safari menu.
  • Click on the Preferences... item.
  • Click on the Security icon near the top of the window.
  • Under Accept Cookies the Always or Only from sites you navigate to must be selected.
  • Save changes by clicking OK.

AOL version 8 & 9:
  • Click Settings on the main toolbar.
  • Click Preferences.
  • Click on Internet Properties (WWW).
  • Click on the Security tab.
  • Click on the Internet Zone, then click on the Custom Level button on the bottom of the window. The Security Settings window will appear.
  • Scroll down until you see Cookies.
  • Click Enable under the 'Allow cookies that are stored on your computer' subheading.
  • Click OK to exit.
