Taurine is a semi-essential amino acid that plays a specialized role as an ion and pH buffer in the body, and is also an antioxidant. Free form amino acid, high purity, well tolerated.
This nutrient is of the highest quality and purity obtainable, free of all common allergens (antigens), and does not contain preservatives, diluents, or artificial additives.

The online ingredient list did not include gelatin, but it was listed first on the label. My son is sensitive to gelatin/MSG and reacted (at which time I noticed the label.)
