Alter Eco Thai White Jasmine Rice is a rain-fed grain grown exclusively in the fertile soils of Surin, in eastern Thailand. Surin has the ideal combination of soil and climatic conditions required to produce this premium rice.

Alter Eco Fair Trade Organic Thai White Jasmine Rice Directions

Rinse the rice thoroughly and drain. Add one cup of rice to 1 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer until all the water has evaporated (approximately 15 minutes).

For a more refined texture and delicious flavor, saute the rice in a tablespoon of ALTER ECO Olive Oil before adding water and cooking... voila a pilaf!

This fragrant rice can be used to liven up any dish. Also great for curries, salads and fried rice.
