Alterna Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo -- 4.75 fl oz
I wanted to try a more natural dry shampoo so I purchased this guy. Honestly, it's a bit heavy and will leave a white cast if you aren't careful. There are better and cheaper alternatives out there, so I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product.

i love this stuff. i've tried several dry shampoos and this one is the best by far. i have very dark brown hair and this does not spray on completely translucent. however, i spray directly to the roots in short spurts and brush with a thick bristle brush. you have to brush it to distribute the powder. it adds volume and doesn't leave my hair feeling too greasy. i actually use this instead of hairspray just for a little volume without the stickiness. love love love it. highly recommend. wish they made it in a travel size for my carry on luggage.

Do your own research
I'm looking for a dry shampoo that is non-toxic. Despite the positive reviews about this product's performance, my search continues.

In Japan dry shampoo is not known much and people wash their hair every single day. I'm trying to skip washing my hair on a weekend when I'm not meeting anyone just to protect my damaged hair. It gives instant volume on my roots and doesn't leave the while residue. It smells really nice of cucumber and citrus which is refreshing as if I've just washed my hair. I still don't want to use it on weekdays before I go to work or something, but I was pretty impressed how it worked. It soaks up oil immediately and makes my hair looking fresh. It's not the cheapest dry shampoo but I recommend it to anyone who is looking for an effective dry shampoo.

Great for dark hair
This product was recommended to me by my favorite stylist and I prefer it over all other dry shampoos. I've tried several, but they all look chalky (even when I brush them out) in my chestnut colored hair. I really like the lift this product gives and that it does not contain harmful propellants like most brands (i.e. butane and other such weird things). I first noticed that I should be careful about this in dry shampoos because my GRANDMOTHER of all people pointed it out. Take heed! Elders know best!
