Excellent product
I've been using American Crew Fiber Mold for the past five years and feel that it is an exceptional product. It gives my hair an enormous amount of texture, body and hold without any shine. I recently tried Paul Mitchell's Mitch Reformer, which costs significantly less, but it did not do the job of the American Crew. It is much thinner than the American Crew and therefore I wind up using double the amount of product.
My recommendation for using the Fiber is to towel dry your hair. Once it has dried (yet is still pliable) put a small amount of the fiber in the palm of your hand and rub your hands back and forth until the fiber is just a thin layer. Once the layer of fiber is almost dry, apply it quickly and evenly to your hair. You will get no shine - just amazing hold and texture.
