It Really Works Over the years, most all of my dermatologists have recommended Amlactin. It is the only thing that actually helps very dry skin. It gets rid of the itchiness that goes with dryness. Yes, it does have the acid but that is minor and after a couple of days, your skin already feels better. If your pharmacy does not have it on the shelf, ask for it, it will be behind the counter in some places. March 14, 2013

For best results: Apply twice daily.

Store at 20-25 C (68-77 F). Avoid excessive heat.

Ingredients: Water, ammonium lactate, mineral oil, propylene glycol, PEG-100 stearate, glycerin, magnesium aluminum silicate, laureth-4, PEG-40 stearate, cetyl alcohol, methylparaben, propylparaben, methylcellulose.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes or broken skin. Mild irritation, stinging or rash may occur on sensitive or broken skin or when used on the face. If irritation or rash continues, discontinue use and consult a physician.
