Amy's Organic Soup Low Fat Cream of Tomato -- 14.5 oz
Healthy and Delicious
I grew up on Campbell's Tomato Soup. My Dad loved it too and it was a food item that we both shared. I would use milk instead of water and a square of butter with pepper sprinkled on the top. I didn't feel that any soup could match that tasty combination. It was a comfort food.
As the years passed by, I became aware of the high sodium in the soup. Currently, my concern has migrated to pesticides and herbicides. I have no information concerning the status of their tomato crop except that, in all likely hood, it is sprayed heavily with pesticides and herbicides.
When I selected Amy's Low Fat Cream of Tomato Soup, I was skeptical. Low Fat, Low Sodium, Organic....how could it be tasty? Fact is: I really liked it. It had more of a tomato flavor, the taste was very delicious and I knew I had treated my body to a better, healthier alternative. I am very pleased with Amy's version of an old standard and it is now a staple for me. No milk added, no butter added but I still add a little pepper to the top.
