Adds Color to Foods
I can't taste much difference between the red quinoa and regular white, but either a mix of both colors or the red alone really jazz up whatever you are serving. I have added it to stew and also used it beneath baked chicken breasts and the plate really pops. Add something green and you have a masterpiece! I love the nutty flavor and texture of quinoa added to almost anything.

The taste is mild and slightly nutty. Cook it just like rice. Then either serve it as a side dish or mix it with other vegetables such as beans. Much healthier for you than starches such as rice!
