Bring 4 quarts of water to a rapid boil. Optional: add 2 tbsp. oil to water
Add pasta into the boiling water.
Return to boil, stirring frequently. Cook uncovered for 6-9 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK. (water will turn yellow from the corn starches, this is normal).
For cold dishes, rinse and lightly coat with oil. For hot dishes, drain and add your favorite sauce.
