The best grain! read my review for suggested use.
this is the most nutritious grain there is. The correct Russian name is Grechka or Grecha meaning Greek grain. Eat it as a side dish (just as you would eat rice.) The suggested use listed here is incorrect, I've never heard anyone eat it like that.
Try it on a side , or after the grain cooked: add canola oil and cubed veggies (carrot, onions, bell pepper.)Then saute. My favorite is by itself w/a pickle maybe. Or the way kids like it: cook hot grain then add sweetener and super cold milk (not too much.) The best!!!

Misleading product name
This product is sold as "buckwheat groats" which is raw buckwheat when in fact it is toasted buckwheat or "kasha". While they do also list this as kasha (shame on me for not reading more carefully!) it cannot be both buckwheat groats and kasha at the same time!
We use it (raw) as " crunchies" in lieu of granola on homemade ice cream, fruit salad, or even mixed with various seeds as a raw instant cereal.
Next time I will try Bob's Red Mill buckwheat groats which are raw.
