NICE TASTE AND TEXTURE I made a vegetable barley soup using the recipe on the package and was very satisfied. (Although I used chicken broth instead of water and omitted the soy sauce.) This grain cooked up nicely and still had a firm enough texture especially for soup. Very tastey and nutritious. June 24, 2008
