Arrowhead Mills Puffed Corn Cereal
These are very lovely when you are craving popcorn, and don't really feel like digging kernels from your teeth. My only concerns are pesticides and GMO's. For everyone who's complaining about them being tasteless...well, I think that's kind of the point...use your imagination. I make them sweet when I have a sweet tooth. I use Grade B maple syrup and organic butter( I also throw in some pecans to get coated), I coat them and toast them in my toaster oven for about 5-10 minutes give or take. Let them cool completely especially if eating with milk. When I want savory, I coat them with coconut oil, butter, Old Bay seafood seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and a very little bit of Himalayan salt. I also toast them for about 5-10 minutes give or take. Use your own imagination and dress these puffy babies up to perfection.

Definitely NOT a "Kix" Substitute
I love puffed corn cereals -- actually, I love all cereal. I'm the least picky cereal eater I've ever met. But I really disliked this cereal. The puffs were very chewy...like they hurt my jaw to chew. I thought they'd be good to serve to my kids dry as a snack, but I was afraid they wouldn't be able to chew them completely. Also they are extremely bland. No corn flavor at all. If you're looking for a healthy corn cereal similar to Kix...this is NOT it.
