Aubrey Balancing Portein Shampoo GPB Classic Scent -- 11 fl oz
I like this shampoo, but it's too mild for me
This shampoo is for "Normal" hair, as it says on the bottle. I have oily hair, but tried it anyway because I wanted to try Aubrey shampoo. The GBP and Aubrey Swimmers Shampoo were the only varieties that they had in my local natural foods store.
The smell is different, but nice. It's hard to describe; kind of powdery and slightly floral. It doesn't lather much, which is something you have to get used to when you switch to shampoos without SLS. Make sure you shake well before each use.
This shampoo is best for those who are looking for something milder. If you need something that removes more oil, I recommend Aubrey's Green Tea Clarifying shampoo.

Shiny & Soft Hair
I was a little turned off by the scent of the shampoo, but now I don't mind it as much. Especially since in all my years of trying many expensive salon shampoos and conditioners I haven't seen my hair ever get so soft or shiny before. Pretty happy and impressed. Great deal.

I expect the shampoo to suds more but I think that is just because it isn't totally full of fake stuff. I like the smell, which had been a point of contention in other reviews. Overall my hair looks great!

Good for all
Have issues with dandruff and this keeps my hair cleaner between washings. Works for teen hair and thinning male hair as well.

I'm cool with the lack of lather, I love the smell and I respect that this is one of the most natural options out there. But I cant do it. The first week of using it I went to a wedding and when I saw the pictures I looked like I hadn't showered in weeks. Apparently other people have good experiences..maybe it's because my hair is fine and curly. Greasy and dull no matter how many times I shampooed. Yuck.
