Aubrey Organics NuStyle Hairspray Regular Hold -- 5 fl oz
At least for me. Hold hair well with no worries about after use residual ... white stuff on the hair after the hairspray dries up. Doesn't dry my hair too.

This product holds nicely.
I can't put anything with chemicals on my skin or in my hair. I haven't used any product (except shampoo) since the 1980's. My stylist cut my hair too short, and I needed some lift at the top so I ordered this hairspray and it did hold. I was not sensitive to it at all.

Does not hold!
Aubrey is misleading us using the term "hairspray" in its NuStyle Hairspray Regular Hold. I'm not sure what this spray does, but it does not set the style like you would expect from a normal hairspray. There is NO hold at all! My hair is short, straight, thin, fine, without body. I like a soft finishing hairspray that will hold my style in place without weighing it down. As a finishing spray the NuStyle did absolutely nothing, so I tried it as a styling spray before blow drying. Still nothing, no added volume or body, but no oiliness, stiffness or stickiness either. Just not sure what this product does for your hair. Then there's the smell....extremely strong herbal fragrance, not a sweet grassy smell, almost like an very strong overpowering thyme, but there's no thyme in the ingredients. I do not find it pleasant at all, and I love herbal fragrance, but it does seem to dissipate as I can't smell it after I finish styling my hair. NuStyle may be good for my hair, it has lots of good natural ingredients, but if it does not perform as advertised, and I see no other benefit, what is the point of spending money on it?

This is the only toxin free hairspray that I have found that had any kind of "hold" to it. I do have fine light hair and was used to aersol products. This has a nice fine mist so I can do all over sprays and I also spritz it onto my finger tips and spread onto the roots for more body.
