Love the scent!
I enjoy this fragrance and others have noticed it as well. My co-worker swore I was wearing a perfume.
It's a slightly different sandalwood than the traditional that I'm familiar, yet it's fine after I've worn the oil for a small while.

Best product for price
Nice aroma better than anyother claimed "sandalwood" oil. As far as I can smell it is not blended it is very strong. If it us blended , it's done in a way that does not diminish the overall content of the oil.

Wonderful oil...
I purchased an aged bottle of Aura Cacia Sandlewood at a health food store and LOVED it so much, I bought another. It isn't quite as smooth as the aged bottle, but that's okay. At these great prices, I'll buy another and let it age. I'm delighted with the results on my skin.

Santalum spicatum, NOT Santalum album
Before you buy, please note that this is Santalum spicatum, and NOT Santalum album, which is real Indian sandalwood. Santalum spicatum is grown in Australia, and is not as glorious as its Indian cousin. Unfortunately real Santalum album is very hard to come by these days, due to preservation laws in India that severly limit exportation of sandalwood in any form. Thus, a large company like Aura Cacia would go with Santalum spicatum, which can be bountifully supplied. All in all, this oil is okay if you're not picky. If you love sandalwood and know quality when you smell it, look elsewhere. There are independent aromatherapy companies and shops that carry Santalum album, in small amounts. Another option is Indian attars, which are other essential oils(usually delicate florals) steam-distilled into a sandalwood oil base.
