Auromere Herbomineral Rejuvenating Mud Bath and Mask Powder -- 4 oz
Heavenly aroma and great for the skin
I use other Auromere products and have been looking for a scrub that is gentle on my, ahem, aging and dry skin and wouldn't reek of chemical fragrance or feel like gravel. There aren't enough adjectives for this fine powdery bit of heavenly scented river mud. The super fine texture is almost silky soft and when used as the directions recommend, it leaves a tingly sensation, a calm feeling, and your skin gently scrubbed and so soft. The aroma is beyond description; earthy, light, calming and ancient. I even use it as a mask as suggested and my facial skin is happier for it. I will be buying more when this little tub runs out. A little bit goes a long way! Don't over use it or you're wasting it. I use it a little thin and using my hand, follow the directions for clockwise movement for a gentle massaging scrub. If you use it in the shower, turn off the water while you scrub. You want the mud to sit on your skin a while before rinsing it off. It will get everywhere and you'll have to rinse your walls or shower curtains, but it's worth it. I'm not a pampered spa person at all, but this is my little treat for myself.

a bit messy but a great product...I used it after a steam facial as a mud mask...I was pleased with the result.

This is a "good product", & I do recommend it. My only gripe about it, has to do with its packaging. It comes as a "dry powder" that I have to add water to. There's an included scoop too. My problem was that as soon as I unscrewed the cap, there's the mud powder all over the place, falling out of the jar & making a mess. There is a "plastic stopper" that was supposed to keep the mud powder from getting all over the place---it failed! So Be Warned, you may have to clean up the mud powder that falls out of the Jar!
