I like the scent of lemons on my hair I've been using this product for about a year and am happy with it, so when I found it on Vitacost at a price that was much less than I could find in my town, I was very excited to save $$ without resorting to purchasing a product that was a poorer quality. Refreshing fragrance, great shampoo Clarifying lemon is my favorite of the Avalon Organics shampoos. It has a good, strong (but not too strong) smell of fresh lemon, lathers well, and leaves a very clean feeling. Also, it seems to be concentrated in that I only have to use a little for it to work, which is great, because it means I don't have to spend as much money as I normally would for shampoo. Get rid of that build up! This shampoo not only effectively removes build up, but smells fantastic. I tried it recently before I colored my hair. My hair seemed to resist deep coloring in the past, and I wondered if I had too much build up for the color to really permeate it.
