"I've tried other Avalon Shampoos and they work great except that they don't smell very nice. This one has a nice smell, however, and leaves my hair feeling soft!"

"I first tried the Biotin version. My hair felt like straw. Since I believe in the company, I figured the moisturizing version would be much better. It was just as bad. It was like the product sucked all the moisture out of my hair. I hate to give a bad review, however I know I am not alone."

"This is a fabulous and effective shampoo on all fronts, especially when combined with the Avalon Organics Awapuhi Conditioner. I have fine but thick, wavy-to-curly, long blonde hair which has become somewhat more strawlike since having two babies in my late 30s. Or is it simply A.G.E. catching up to me?! Either way, I only use organic products and have had great results with all Avalon products over the years. So I tried the biotin products. They worked okay for my husband, however, for me, unfortunately, only served to make my hair look fuzzy, like felted wool. So on to this Awapuhi line of products I went, and, wow, what a difference the right shampoo and conditioner can make. My hair looks and feels great again... soft, shiny, thick without being frizzy or fuzzy, manageable, and my waves are back in full force just like they used to be. I highly recommend this shampoo!"
