Excellent Product! I was not sure about ordering this product, it is the first time I have tried anything like it. Glad I did, it was very good and extremely easy to use. My only suggestion is to let it set for 18-20 minutes opposed to the recipe of 13 to ensure the rice absorbs more water. I will re-order along with different types. April 27, 2013

Excellent This is one of the easiest and tastiest meals for on the go. A bit high in sodium, but if you don't overdo it, no problem. The red beans and rice meal is well seasoned with just the right amount of kick! Congrats to Backpacker's Pantry. July 17, 2011

these are really good. I highly recommend these. Lightweight, delicious and nutritious. And super convenient camping in bear country cause there is no clean up (if you eat from the bag!). Would like to see more vegetarian options from Backpacker's Pantry. September 24, 2009
