Badger Lip Tint And Shimmer Opal and Red Jasper -- 0.17 oz
The color is on the orange side. Not red. I like the Rose tourmaline better.

Great lip balm with hnt of color
I tried another lip tint on Vitacost and it's dry and too thick. This one is perfect. I use only lip balms or chap sticks (not lipstick) and this feels like balm and has a really great hint of color. The balm heals my lips and also keeps them from getting chapped in very cold and dry weather. I LOVE it. The opal end gives it a more dramatic look, similar to frosty lipstick, but is also good alone for glam.

The shimmer part does not do anything but the colored part has smooth application and stays on for a bit. It is great since it is natural but the actual color of the product is a bit darker and with orange undertones.

Color not Red
Disappointed in this one - definitely not RED - it was a coppery orange. Bought this over the garnet thinking it would be less pink and more of a true red - not so. The frosty side is nice. I love this brand and have ordered other colors as well as the basic lip balms. Issue was with color representation, not the product itself.

Badger Lip Gloss Garnet Tint
I love this lip balm/gloss for the fact it has some colour yet has no “flavour”. I hate the taste of regular lipstick and flavoured lip gloss! Unlike comments on the other colours, I was most pleased to find this had no taste… other than the oils etc. it’s made with. It has barely any more taste than unflavoured lip glosses = totally acceptable to me.
I’ve only had the Jasper. It’s a lovely shade of not too red: a warm, NOT blue red. It’s a little shimmery and translucent, not thick and totally covering like regular lipstick. I’m an outdoor person who appreciates a hint of colour to my basic products. I'm not the 'lipstick type'. This is a winner.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the second colour. It’s too easy to accidently turn it rather than the coloured end in which case it plugs up the end cap and makes a mess. Also, the pale colour separated when it got too warm. I finally removed it entirely. It was a ghostly colour for me anyway. (I’m fair/blond, now going silver and tan lightly).
It is no longer available where I live, but I think they’ve quit making it. Hopefully Badger or someone else will come out with another tinted gloss that isn’t flavoured. Like most glosses, it doesn’t last as long as lipstick. If you’re looking for long lasting, this might not be the product for you. I will buy this again even though I won’t use the second colour.
