Badger Organic Badger Balm -- 2 oz
too greasy & unpleasant smell

This definitely is a godsend for people who have incredibly dry hands (or knees, elbows, itchy/rashy skin anywhere really). I am a nanny and literally wash my hands at least once an hour for my 11 hour shifts between washing up before preparing food, after diaper changes or potty training, doing dishes, and touching some miscellaneous gross substance that was on a toy... my hands were so, so cracked and dry and no lotion ever was enough to moisten these babies. I felt like I had the hands of a 90 year old and I'm not even 30! This really helped a lot with my hands, and I also had a pretty wretched foot situation going on during the winter that we won't get into, but it helped with that as well. I am happy with it and will continue to buy.

Great Healing Salve
Have been using Badger Balm for many years now. It helps keep hands from getting chapped and sore. It is also very helpful for those of us who use our hands as tools and need help healing them. Really helps cracked fingertips and doesn't sting or burn.

This balm works really well and it doesn't contain any chemicals.

can't get through winter without it
Dab some of this into the palm of your hand, then rub your hands together with a bit of warm water. The balm will emulsify and you can smear it around your hands. It will seem like all you're doing is washing your hands with water, but enough of the balm will be left behind to keep them moist for hours.
On really dry spots, you can just rub it "full strength" into your skin. It also smells a bit like root beer!
The Badger tin is larger than I like to carry around so I put some of it into a smaller tin used by a similar (but inferior) balm, then melt it a bit in the toaster oven so it "sinks in" to the tin and stays there. It lasts a very long time and is a lot easier than carrying a bottle or tube of something that could break or spill.
