"I wanted to love this. I like Badger products, cocoa butter, lip stuff...where did we go wrong? For starters, this arrived more or less in a puddle--no, more like an oil slick. Fortunately, VC had thought to put in in a plastic bag for shipping along with liquidy things I purchased. When I opened the bag, everything felt oily...it took me a minute to find the culprit because I sure didn't expect lip balm! Apparently, the stuff melts very easily, so I can't carry it in my pocket or even my purse. In fact, I am currently keeping it in the fridge. Even then, it is the oiliest mess on my lips (and surrounding skin)...ugh! It seriously melts on contact! And the moisturizing benefit just doesn't seem to last. It does smell like you'd expect, tasty. I gave it three stars for quality only because it has good ingredients. Pretty much a total waste of too much money. Rather disappointing."

"Best features: It has no flavor, save for a hint of cocoa butter, it goes on smooth, and it lasts a long time. Drawbacks are: It's a bit pricier than many lip balms and you can't access the very last part of the balm without digging it out with your finger. Even so, I think it is one of the best on the market and worth it. A definite upgrade from Burts Bees."

"The reason I was a bit disappointed is that I expected it to smell and taste like CHOCOLATE. But that doesn't make it a bad product; it's actually far larger than a typical lip balm size and so covers the lip surface far easier . . . it's alright as product, but I was looking forward to the chocolate aspect. As far as the consistency/texture of the product, it is a bit thin and slippery. Again, nothing bad in reality, but I have used others that were a bit waxier and seemed to protect the lips more."

"This is a really nice lip balm, and there's definately a nice subtle scent of "cocoa". The balm itself is yellow in colour but goes on sheer. It's Very creamy and smooth on the lips. Gives a hint of shine but nothing I would consider "glossy". It stays for quite awhile on the lips and moisturizes incredibly well. My lips feel very hydrated when I use it.
Very large tube, quality ingredients, hydrates and soothes dry lips.
Highly recommended."
