Badger Organic Sore Muscle Rub Tin Cayenne & Ginger -- 2 oz
Works good, but smell is overpowering
I really like Badger products. They're well made, clean and always do the trick. This does the trick, but the smell is really overpowering. My wife told me that I smelled like I stepped out of the 1970's.
I tried giving it to my parents (who had me in the 70's) hoping that the smell might make them nostalgic while relaxing their sore muscles. They both passed after I opened the can.
I'll keep it on the shelf. Maybe someone will like clearing the room smelling like ginger and take it off my hands.
Vitacost shipped fast and easy, like usual. I will continue to use Badger products, just not this one.

reduces pain in tight muscles
First time use. Has helped reduce pain and tightness in muscles that surround some injured joints.

I swear by this stuff! I had a gift set of Badger Balms & thought I would try this on my VERY tight shoulder muscle. I get massages regularly & last time I had one she didn't work on my shoulder because there was not enough time. I have been using this balm every night for the past 5.5 weeks & it has made an amazing difference. I am not in dying pain everymoment I am not laying down. Very much recommended if you have sore/tight muscles.

Not my first choice
I have lots of backaches and I've tried all the muscle relief creams and Badger doesn't work as well as BenGay or BioFreeze so I haven't used it much.

I like this!
This was the first time I've ever tried a Badger product and I was quite pleased. The scent is different, but I didn't mind it. The product is very hard, but once it gets on your body, it warms up and penetrates the skin. It is not like other menthol rubs, if that is what you want! It has a warming effect, but no where near that of the other rubs. I still like the fact that it is organic and when my children have sore legs, I'm not putting more chemicals on their skin. So far it has worked for my son, and that's what I bought it for.
