Corn Chips Were Killing Me Had to get rid of corn tortillas/chips and cottonseed/canola oil (used most of all, because it is cheap) - I tracked my intake of these diet toxins and found that they were producing a whole host of problems. The doctor confirmed the body intolerance of corn and canola, and I had to seek an alternative which was not gluten based. As an alternative, I have begun to eat Beanitos and love them! Beanitos use sunflower oil and beans, both of which light off no intolerance reactions in my body. I am tremendously pleased. ...and they are GREAT!!! THANK YOU BEANITOS....thank you thank you.... Great Alternative to Corn Tortilla Chips I love that these chips are Non-GMO and do not contain corn, but I wish that they used a better oil than sunflower oil. They need to use a palm oil like coconut oil that can resist heat and is actually good for you. Sunflower oil is a processed vegetable oil that is not good for you. But it is nice to have something to eat instead of GMO corn chips at a gathering. April 5, 2013
