Satisfied!
The mascara is a great dark brown shade and does not clump on your lashes. I have naturally curly lashes so to be honest I'm not sure if it adds even more curl to them or not... but I AM completely satisfied and happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to other vegans.

No clumps
I have been searching for a mascara that doesn't clump for years. This product stays smooth for the lifetime of the mascara. It doesn't have all of the harsh chemicals that we probably don't want to think about that are in the store brands. Perfect!

This mascara is okay. In my search to find the best vegan mascara it's definitely not the worst, but it could still be better.
I like a full, dramatic lash look, and this doesn't quite give me that. I've finally figured out how to make it the best that I can, and I'm able to build some volume by spacing out the coats and using more than I typically do. However, it makes the lashes look a little more spaced out with a lot of mascara on each bunch, rather than full and thick (if that makes any sense).
Another thing is that the mascara runs easily. Normally, even without waterproof mascara, I can handle a few tears without ruining my makeup. With this, if I'm chopping onions and a few tears come out, I have black streaks running down my face. It's not a huge problem because I don't cry very often, but it's just something I've noticed.
If you're looking for a good vegan mascara, the best I've found so far is Zuzu Luxe "The Mascara." I'm still holding out hope, though, that I can find a vegan mascara that performs as well as conventional stuff.
