Beauty Without Cruelty Waterproof Mascara Cocoa -- 0.27 fl oz
I was so excited to try this waterproof mascara, but was somewhat disappointed. I didn't love the brush and felt the mascara went on somewhat uneven. I bought this mascara specifically to travel to Thailand with. It was crazy hot and we were in and out of water and it let me down! Many days I had dark mascara smudged under my eyes, even on days I didn't swim. It definitely didn't stay where it wa supposed to.

Subtle, natural color without raccooning eyes
Haven't tried it swimming and NOTHING stays on when I train hard, but this is the nicest, most natural looking mascara (I've tried dozens from drug stores, department stores, health food stores) I have used since Neutrogena stopped making their "weightless" line. And, under normal daily wear and tear it stays on great - even holds out through a hard 8 hour shift - which is where it outshines my old favorite. Only down side is the price.

I wore this all day the first day I tried it. It lasted from 9-5, through a 5 pm training session at the gym and in the pool for an hour with the kids. It finally came off when it got wet and was mixed with shampoo in the shower.
A little tough to get off completely afterwards, but worth it.

My favorite, so far, for a natural day look
One thing I realize after reading dozens (and dozens) of mascara reviews, is that they really are so subjective. What one person likes, another will hate; but here goes. I've tried so, SO many mascaras; for me, this is the best. I have oily skin and I don't end up with racoon eyes, the wand is a nice traditional one (no crazy rubbery-plastic wand - I really don't like any of those), and the formula is light and airy allowing for multiple coats, if desired. Most important for me, it keeps my lashes curled! I wish there was a color a little darker (I have black lashes, but I like a brown-black mascara), this is definitely brown but I still like it better than black for day time. I bet it would be great for blonde lashes. :-)

*sigh* I wish I could find a natural mascara that I like, but haven't yet, and certainly, it's not this one.
