Pastey This sunblock is thick and does not spread very easily. If you have hair, the product builds up around the follicle and becomes tacky. Leaves a horrible white cast. I do not recommend. June 6, 2012

excellent sun block!!! Not like most of sun block, this doesn't make you white so I can put it on my face and body! You can apply smoothly and you don't fell sticky! This is my favorite sun block so far! September 13, 2011

Less Chemical! I bought this lotion to use in summer days outdoors because it is on the list from the Environmental Working Group as having less harmful chemicals than many of the name brands. It works and does not have the telltale white zinc on the skin. Though pricier than brands in the store, I want what I put on my skin to be healthy. This is a healthier alternative. May 22, 2011

best sunscreen I've found yet Since my days as a beach lifeguard in the early 70s, I've been seeking the best sunscreen I could find. This Beyond Coastal product is the one. I was fortunate enough to come across the company at a natural products trade show, and got a sample. It worked so well that I immediately ordered 5 tubes of it. Beyond Coastal Active Daily Sunscreen SPF 30 Directions

Apply generously and evenly to skin 30 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply as needed or after towel drying, swimming or sweating.

Ingredients: Active Ingredients: Avobenzone 2.8%, benzophenone-3 5.0%, octyl methoxycinnamate 7.5% and octyl salicytate 5.0%.

Inactive Ingredients: Purified water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, C12-15 alkyl benzoate, glycerin, algae extract, cycloheptasiloxane, isopropyl palmitate, cetearyl alcohol, ceteareth-20, dimethicone, silica, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, rosa canina (rose hips) fruit oil, allantoin, sodium PCA, ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), panthenol, phenoxyethanol, dimethylaminoethanol bitartrate (DMAE), alpha lipoic acid, benzyl alcohol, carbomer, acrylates / C10-C30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, triethanolamine, disodium EDTA, potassium sorbate and yerba mate.
