good supplement My 14-year-old and 12-year-old dogs both seem to do well on this product. Can't vouch for the joint effectiveness of this product tho. But it does seem to keep their mental acuity. March 10, 2008

Good Product for Aging Dogs We have 2 older dogs, a Border Collie mix who is 10 and an Australian Shepherd that is 12. Both are a little overweight and have joint issues. Because we were concerned about long term use of stronger prescription meds, our vet started them on BioVet a few years ago, and we have continued its use, adjusting the dosage as we have observed changes in behavior. While neither is back to playing frisbee daily as had been the case in their younger years, they are able to navigate the stairs in our 2 story house and are more comfortable in daily movements.
