these are the best quality canned sardines we have tried. however, i only gave four stars on taste because the cayenne pepper is so faint - i wish it were more spicy and hot.

Stick with the Plain
I tried the cayenne, lemon, and plain flavors of these delicious sardines.
The cayenne and lemon have a plastic after-taste.
The lemon lacks lemon flavor and the cayenne has no punch.
The plain, unflavored sardines are moist, plump and delicious.
I highly recommend the splurge for these sardines...unflavored.
